Jane Cowl feels touched by late-summer light, and she adds a warm note that can pull several bouquet colors together. Bronze and warm autumnal tones with loosely arranged, fully double petals with a relaxed, dimensional silhouette.

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ History & Preservation

Jane Cowl was released in 1928 by Downs Dahlia Farms after the celebrated stage actress Jane Cowl selected the unnamed seedling to carry her name at the 1927 American Dahlia Society show. Nearly a century later she is still in cultivation, which is exactly why preserving old cultivars matters.
