Pramie 18

Pramie 18 is the kind of variety that makes sense in a collector's patch and a cutting garden alike, and she carries her form with confidence. A historic large decorative cultivar dating to 1948, valued as an heirloom presence in the garden and for substantial cut blooms.

🌱 2027 Grow-Out: This variety will arrive at Hedge & Alchemy in Spring 2027 and will be grown here for the first time that season. It will not be offered in our 2027 tuber sale.

🕯️ History & Preservation

Pramie 18 dates to 1948, a surviving post-war European decorative dahlia. The fact that she is still being grown more than seventy-five years later is reason enough to keep passing her along.
