Bubbling Over

Bubbling Over is a deliciously ruffled informal decorative that seems to froth with color. Her blooms mingle soft lemon-yellow, peach, cream, and warm blush, finished with vivid raspberry-pink edging that gives the petals a lively picotee effect. The loose, curling petals keep her from feeling overly polished, giving the flower the exuberant, slightly unruly character her name promises.

Bubbling Over will arrive at Hedge & Alchemy in Spring 2027 and will be grown here for the first time that season. She will not be offered in our 2027 tuber sale.

• Bloom: Ruffled informal decorative flowers with a soft lemon center, peachier outer tones, and distinct raspberry-pink edging. The irregular petals give each bloom plenty of movement.
• Plant Height & Habit: Generally around 3 feet tall, with a productive, branching habit.
• Growing Notes: A prolific variety that should work beautifully as both a focal and bridge flower, especially with peach, blush, cream, coral, and burgundy palettes.
