Otto's Thrill brings a gentle color story to the patch, and she is especially lovely when the goal is softness rather than high contrast. Pink dinnerplate, with loosely arranged, fully double petals with a relaxed, dimensional silhouette.
🕯️ History & Preservation
Introduced in 1956 by Otto Aumiller, Otto’s Thrill is a true mid-century American classic. Growing these older dahlias is partly an act of preservation for me: every season they survive is another season they can be shared.
