Tangerine Dream
Tangerine Dream is a softly glowing formal decorative in layers of peach, apricot, blush, and muted tangerine, finished with creamy white tips that give each petal a delicate frosted edge. Toward the center, the color deepens into dusty rose and raspberry, adding just enough contrast to keep the bloom from feeling overly sweet.
Her palette has an almost vintage quality, warm and luminous but softened around the edges. She has a similar appeal to Peaches-N-Cream, but with a warmer, peachier cast and a more pronounced rosy center.

Tangerine Dream will arrive at Hedge & Alchemy in Spring 2027 and will be grown here for the first time that season. She will not be offered in our 2027 tuber sale.

- Cut Flower Status: Excellent. The useful BB size, sturdy stems, and muted warm palette make her especially appealing for bouquet work.
- Show & Exhibition Flower Status: Suitable for formal decorative classes where permitted, but she does not currently have an official ADS classification number.
🌱 Growing Notes
- Bloom: Fully double formal decorative flowers with warm peach-apricot petals, pale cream-to-white tips, and richer rose or raspberry shading concentrated toward the center.
- Plant Height & Habit: Around 44 inches to 4 feet tall, with a sturdy, productive habit.
- Growing Notes: Reported to be a prolific producer with strong stems and relatively little need for heavy staking. Her coloring should be especially useful with blush, cream, mauve, burgundy, and softer copper-toned dahlias.
