The Secret Universe brings together twelve of my close-up dahlia photographs and a lunar gardening calendar inspired by traditional planting lore. Every flower was grown and photographed here at Ravensong Cottage in Pennsylvania, capturing curling petals, intricate centers, and unexpected colors that are easy to miss in the garden.

Daily moon symbols help you follow the lunar cycle throughout the year. The four main phases include small gardening tips inspired by traditional associations with sowing, transplanting, root crops, pruning, and tending the soil. Use them as gentle prompts for planning your garden alongside your local seasons, frost dates, and each plant’s needs.
